MARCIT - Health insuranc is paid 100% for the employee, and up to 50% for family coverage. Humana HMO is the popular choice with a wide variety of choices for physicians. Insurance costs actually decreased !% last year. This is unusual in the insurance industry.

7Principal Financial Group - Short-term and long-term disability fully paid for by the District. The Local 3133 also has a long-term disability policy as part of your Union Dues.


CENTRAL STATES HEALTH now NEW ERA LIFE- Supplemental insurance5
Cancer protection is no longer offered, but those who are already grandfather in, will remain covered. Consider yourselves lucky. Supplemental insurance is a good idea to have for the active individual/family. In most incidents, supplemental insurance will pay for covered accidents off the job, covered medical diseases, and much more. Sni Valley does not contribute to this plan but allows for auto-deduction from your bi-weekly payroll.

ING - 457 Plan - This plan can be auto-deducted from your paycheck and is determined at your will on how much you personally contribute out of your salary. You pick your investments and it could be another tool for you to supplement your retirement. Sni Valley does not contribute to this plan.

MISSOURI MOST - 529 plan - This plan is now Federally and State tax free upon taking out for a qualified college expense for your children. It gives you the power of investment growth and will save you at least 35% of your money in the long run. This of course depends on the ivestments you choose within the program.

LAGERS - Level 11
Currently the highest level in LAGERS. 2.5% x the number of years of service averaged over the last three years of your salary at retirement. Check out the full details on their website.
